Co-Host

Michael serves as Principal IT Architect at SAP’s global Enterprise Architecture and Advisory practice, bringing over eight years of international expertise in IT architecture and top-tier consulting. Prior to SAP, he was a senior management consultant at A.T. Kearney’s Digital and Analytics practice. Michael advises SAP clients and partners worldwide on IT architecture, digital assets, and digital currencies. He is a member of the global core team for digital assets and currencies at SAP and was a member of the global blockchain core team at A.T. Kearney. His portfolio of engagements spans across industries, with particular emphasis on financial services.

Michael earned his PhD in Information Systems at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he still serves as a senior external lecturer and researcher. He holds a BSc in Information Systems and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Augsburg. His research on cloud ERP, IT architecture, and institutional DLT is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and published in leading international journals. He also collaborates with the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute on frontier technology research.
